Schwartz is a law review graduate of the University Of Tennessee School Of Law, a member of the Federal Court, and has in excess of 33 years experience under the Defense Base Act, Longshore & Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and the Non-Appropriated Funds Instrumentalities Act. John M. Schwartz is Board Certified* in the field of Workers’ Compensation and Maritime Law. These two areas overlap to provide the expertise under the Defense Base Act, the Non-Appropriated Funds Instrumentalities Act, and the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act. Mr. Schwartz has handled in excess of 150 cases under the law applicable to the Defense Base Act, and the Non-Appropriated Funds Instrumentalities Act. Cases have been handled worldwide including cases in Iraq, Kuwait, Jordan, the Philippines, Germany, India, Antigua, and other worldwide areas.
